Sporterized Remington Model 1917 with Lyman 57 SME receiver peep sight mounted above the bolt. Bore is pristine with strong rifling and no visible erosion. Original receiver markings (U.S. Model of 1917 Remington) are still clearly visible. Rifle is equipped with a sling and set up as a solid hunting rifle. There is a crack on the cheek rest of the stock however I have shot it and noticed no issue with it.
A classic sporter conversion built on the strong M1917 action and ready for the range or field.
